Radio Silence – 10,000 in a Skoda PickUp from London to Mongolia

radiosilence.jpg

Skoda cars rock! And if you need more evidence, check out what Dominic Yard and Thomas Donhou of Radio Silence are up to...These likely lads are planning to drive a beat-up Skoda PickUp 10,000 miles from our Capital to Mongolia through mountains, rivers, deserts – even snow if it falls, as part of the 2009 Mongol Rally

It's all in the name of charity and there'll be no maps or SatNav – so it's likely they will get lost but more's the fun! The money raised will go to help disadvantaged kids and families in Mongolia so your support would be gratefully received. To see what they're up to and how they are getting on, visit: www.radiosilence.co.uk

On your marks, get set, go!

It's not going to be an easy ride...

Virgin Atlantic Competition

25-Virgin

To help celebrate their 25th birthday, Virgin Atlantic has concocted a competition to get the public involved and excited about the big day. It’s the Red Hot Remake competition, inviting members of the public to recreate the Still Red Hot ad (head to www.virginatlanticstillredhot.com/popup/tv-ad.html to see it).

A video announcing the competition can be seen here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJCLjqnzZ-0 Follow the progress on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/virginatlantic?ref=ts Or Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/thisisvirginatlantic

- Deadline for video entries is Tuesday 16th June.
